2. Types of Data Processed and Legal Bases

We process personal data in strict compliance with the GDPR. Categories include: Inventory data (names, addresses), Contact data (email, phone), Content data (manuscripts, audio, covers), Payment data, Usage data (logs, playback position).

Legal bases: Contract performance (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR), Legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) c GDPR), Legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

3. Hosting and Server Logs

Our platform runs on secure servers. Browser automatically transmits data (logs): Browser type, OS, Referrer, IP, Timestamp.

You can register to use additional functions. Data is used only for the purpose of the respective offer. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use only technically necessary cookies/local storage for session management, cart/player status, and security. Legal Basis: § 25 (2) No. 2 TTDSG and Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

5. Data Processing for Authors/Narrators (B2B)

For content partners, we process master data and bank details for contract performance and billing. Transfer to distributors only if necessary. Storage continues after contract end if required for existing customer access.

6. Data Processing for Listeners (B2C)

We process purchase history and listening progress to provide the library and synchronization.

7. AI Exclusion Clause

We do NOT use your data or works to train generative AI.

8. Internal Statistics

We collect anonymized first-party statistics to improve the offer. No transfer to Google/Meta.

9. Reporting Procedure

When using the takedown form, we store data for case processing.

10. Storage Duration

We store data as long as necessary (Tax records 10 years, Contract data 6 years, Metadata permanently for existing customers).

11. Your Rights

You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Right to complain to the supervisory authority in Lower Saxony.
